Cover Story

Behind the cover of this book is a multidimensional story. This photo was taken in Jerusalem in December 2010. Tim Berends was traveling in Israel with a couple of his friends. One of Tim’s ways to witness is the passing out of gospel tracts. In this photo Tim is handing out a Jesus tract to an Orthodox Jewish man. He replied, “If I had a shotgun, I’d shoot you here and now!” Well, I looked at the photograph/postcard from Tim and something strongly drew me to it. The focal point of the photo caught my eye: the white license plate. The license plate on the car read (89-606-01). I did not understand or comprehend the meanings at first, but after staring longer I added the single digits together, and the total was thirty. God’s orchestration of events is again revealed. Thirty pieces of silver was the price paid by the Orthodox Jews to Judas for betraying Yeshua. The Orthodox Jews hated Yeshua then as now. Again, the other witness was present. But wait! There is more. Using the value of single digits that we developed earlier and reading from left to right, (8) a new beginning is promised by (9) God, Holy Spirit (the space serves as a conjunction), but man (6) is nothing (0) himself (6), space, without (0) God (1). God revealed this to me in a dream. This is the first subset of meanings of the original numbers.

A third meaning is also present. Enter the second subset of meanings. Reading from left to right, 8 + 9 = 17 (the unlimited power of God), space, 6 + 0 -i- 6 = 12 (the structure of government or kingdom of God), space, and the last two digits added together gives 0 -i-1 = 1, (the unity number of God). As in reading Hebrew, right to left, it reads: Our God’s kingdom is without any limitation on His power.

Reading from Numbers 35:30 “Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses:” The word witnesses implies two or more. In the photo witness one is the mathematics contained on the license plate and the second witness can be seen standing between the car in the foreground and the van behind.
